i have traveled alot and i am so exhausted of carrying around a 150 pg travel guide. Whats something untried i could use to travel with so i dont have to lug that large encyclopedia like book around?

I am planning to travel around India for two months in September. I would be going with my boyfriend so we would be sharing a room. It would be nice to do it quite cheaply, but probably not staying in hostels all the time, but apparently b&b type accomodation is quite cheap. We are not extravagant but would not be too frugal either.
The cost would include accomodation, meals, sightseeing, travel within the country, but not flights to India (which is approx £500).
Any advice from people who have travelled round India would be greatly appreciated.

I would love to travel for a job when I am older, whats a job that is not too hard to get into that involves getting to travel around the world, that is not a flight attendant or a pilot etc.
I ‘finished high school yet and i live in Melbourne Australia
Also it would be improved if the job involves the flights etc being paid for by whoever i work for.

I am studying Japanese and desire to travel around Japan for a couple of months visiting Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka, and various other places. However, travelling in japan always seems to be very costly when I google it. I am a student (in the UK) and therefore on a tight budget. Where are the cheapest places to stay/eat? Cheapest flights and domestic travel?

I’m planning to travel to Switzerland, Austria and Czech Rep this summer via train from UK. One of the cheapest options is to purchase the Global Pass, which is only for European residents. However I am not a European resident, which means that I require to obtain another cheap options to travel. Can anyone give any suggestions?
